From the album: Country House - Renovated
When Carrie saw the dining room, she thought Santa would get in trouble for messing up Grandma's house, but her eyes quickly adjusted to the scene as she checked out the dollhouses with Holly. The girls are very appreciative, and Amy is hugging Grandma, while Heather is waiting for Grandpa to put is arms around her. The girls knew they were loved, but they didn't know their grandparents were this crazy. - Carrie thinks Santa bought the gifts, but she will hug her grandparents anyway. -

The girls want to be sure that everyone on this site lately gets their Christmas/Holiday message, which is: Seasons Greetings from our little home to yours. We wish you the best of all the little things in life. Love, Grandpa, Grandma, Amy, Heather, Holly, Carrie, and Fala (the dog) P.S. -- Happy Holidays from me too! -

For fun I thought I would take a black and white picture. The result reminds me of an old fashioned family photo. -

A beautiful sight - they're happy tonight! Amy hangs the stockings as Grandma and Grandpa prepare for a holiday feast in this most joyous Christmas scene. Great Grandma and Grandpa are sitting in their rockers, taking in the sight. -

After what seemed like a hundred takes, the family got a few good shots from which they can use for their family Christmas card. The girls are lining the staircase in Brady Bunch fashion (that is youngest to oldest moving from top to bottom). Their personalized stockings were made by Barbara Hill of Hill Country Miniatures. The girls kept mixing up their stockings, as they thought it would be funny if they were each holding a stocking with one of their sisters' names instead of their own to see if anyone would notice. However, Grandma thought that would confuse too many friends and relatives, so they kept it serious. -

The family decided on to use this picture for the this year's Christmas card. The card reads: Happy Holidays from our little home to yours. We wish you all the best of the little things in life this coming year. - Love, Grandpa, Grandma, Amy, Heather, Holly, Carrie, and Fala. - (Fala is sitting on Grandma's lap.) The family hopes this message gets your holiday season off to a good start, and so do I. -

It looks like this family enjoys making music together. I thought this was a lovely scene in beautiful room. -

It's a wonderful but sometimes scary world out there, so Grandma and Grandpa won't let the girls go trick-or-treating alone. Grandpa will take them, while Grandma will stay home and give out the candy. The girls wanted Grandpa to dress up, so last minute he marked his neck with red and black magic markers to make it look like he was bit by a vampire. Great Grandma and Grandpa are on the porch in rocking chairs watching the kids go by. They plan to scare the kids who mistake them as dummies. -
