From the album: Dura-Craft FH505
-
I bought an fh505 for $30 from Craigslist about 2 years ago. I love making miniatures and finally have time to build the house. This is my first build and I am having a little bit of issue with construction. I have read the instructions many times over, and I've examined the pictures, but I'm still not sure I'm assembling it correctly. I don't want to mess it up. Does anyone happen to have any pictures of their progress AS they are building? Im a visual person and hope if I can see the way someone else is doing it, it might help me to figure out if I'm doing this correctly. Thanks in advance!

I'm currently working on my first build, a duracraft farmhouse fh505. I am having some issue and could use a bit of help. I've posted about the issues I'm having in the duracraft forum. Any suggestions and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/?app=forums&module=forums&controller=topic&id=38742#comment-624237

This is going to be a little macabre. I noticed this a few months ago, but never posted. Tonight I figure why not share my thought to see if I am crazy or if other people see it. Ed Gein is called a serial killer by many. He actually only killed two women, but stole a bunch of bodies from a graveyard. He made bowls out of skulls. He made a wastebasket out of human skin and, well, look him up. For those of you that haven't heard of him, Google him. Okay, so I was watching one of those Investigation Discovery shows and it was about Gein. They showed some film of his house. I backed up the video three or four times because the resemblance is UNCANNY. You tell me ... How similar are his house and the Dura Craft Farmhouse??? Lose the dormers and the fancy trim and slide the front door over. ...and before anyone asks -- no, I don't think I am going to build it that way (although it is an idea).
