3D printing is an absolute must if you’re into making miniatures…making anything really. Not as difficult to figure out as you may think, if I could learn to use it, anybody can.-

I evenutally would like to get ethnic and cultural food for every holiday, so that my little family will have a variety of delicious and nutritional things to eat. The shrimp platter is for Good Friday and Easter, and the rest is for Cesar Chavzez Day, which passed, and Cinco de Mayo, which is coming up. -
I wanted to share my 1:24 mini pieces I made for a customer. These were quite a challenge to make. My hat is off to those of you that work in 1:24 and smaller scale. I think I'm most comfortable at 1:6, and my smallest I'm comfortable at is 1:12. I think I need a jewelers loupe!

My baguettes are up for sale here on my website. I created a section for miniatures. These three are ready to go and in 1:12 scale. I'm including the wooden 2" disc that they are placed upon. If you are a first time visitor to my website, you will need to register for an account to order. I'll ship these next business day, and there is only one set available.

This is the second try at baguettes. These are more to scale, more artisan looking, less shiny. I used a matte sealer on these versus the gloss on the other ones I made. I also "opened" these a bit more to show more detail on the bread dough inside of the cuts. Overall I'm happy with them. -

I love polymer clay and tried my hand at making a mini baguette and some potatoes today. I'm pleased with them, it's so much fun making food into miniature. I'm not sure these are 1:12 scale, I kind of just winged it, but they're close I think.

It is finally Christmas Eve, and Grandpa moved the dining room table to make room for Santa Claus. I think I like the table that way.- 1 comment

These are a set of hot cross buns with raisins I made last night. Boy talk about eye strain with those raisin pieces I thought these would be 1:12 but they're really 1:6. Hey it's all good.
