  1. From the album: Miniatures "Things" I've made

3D printing is an absolute must if you’re into making miniatures…making anything really. Not as difficult to figure out as you may think, if I could learn to use it, anybody can.

Don't forget the main course, Grandma.

    A Lovely Feast

From the album: Country House - Album 2

    Little House - Big Feast
  9. From the album: Country House - Album 2

I evenutally would like to get ethnic and cultural food for every holiday, so that my little family will have a variety of delicious and nutritional things to eat. The shrimp platter is for Good Friday and Easter, and the rest is for Cesar Chavzez Day, which passed, and Cinco de Mayo, which is coming up.
  10. I wanted to share my 1:24 mini pieces I made for a customer. These were quite a challenge to make. My hat is off to those of you that work in 1:24 and smaller scale. I think I'm most comfortable at 1:6, and my smallest I'm comfortable at is 1:12. I think I need a jewelers loupe!
  11. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

Baguettes and Carrots made in 1:24 scale.
  12. My baguettes are up for sale here on my website. I created a section for miniatures. These three are ready to go and in 1:12 scale. I'm including the wooden 2" disc that they are placed upon. If you are a first time visitor to my website, you will need to register for an account to order. I'll ship these next business day, and there is only one set available.
  13. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

Carrots in polymer clay 1:12 scale.
  14. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

1:12 scale with quarter to size.
  15. I made some chocolate chip cookie dough for my Chrysnbon stove. This is 1:12 scale. Now I want a glass of milk and some real cookies!
  16. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

This is the second try at baguettes. These are more to scale, more artisan looking, less shiny. I used a matte sealer on these versus the gloss on the other ones I made. I also "opened" these a bit more to show more detail on the bread dough inside of the cuts. Overall I'm happy with them.
  17. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

A trio of baguettes made from polymer clay, scaled 1:12.
  18. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

Chocolate chip cookie dough in polymer 1:12 scale.
  19. I've placed my set of four hot cross buns on Ebay, I figure if they sell then I can buy more clay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161182299330?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  20. I love polymer clay and tried my hand at making a mini baguette and some potatoes today. I'm pleased with them, it's so much fun making food into miniature. I'm not sure these are 1:12 scale, I kind of just winged it, but they're close I think.

    Final Preparations

From the album: Country House - Renovated

It is finally Christmas Eve, and Grandpa moved the dining room table to make room for Santa Claus. I think I like the table that way.
  22. These are a set of hot cross buns with raisins I made last night. Boy talk about eye strain with those raisin pieces I thought these would be 1:12 but they're really 1:6. Hey it's all good.
  23. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

These are some hot cross buns with raisins I made. The glaze is liquid sculpey mixed with white clay.
  24. From the album: Amylynn's Polymer Clay Food

    Made of polymer clay.
