From the album: Country House - Renovated
A beautiful sight - they're happy tonight! Amy hangs the stockings as Grandma and Grandpa prepare for a holiday feast in this most joyous Christmas scene. Great Grandma and Grandpa are sitting in their rockers, taking in the sight. -

These are the purchases I made at Karen Aird's Fall 2013 Miniature Show in Warren, NJ. This show is much smaller than the recent one I attended in Cherry Hill, but it is still very nice, and I ended up purchasing a lot more here than at the larger show. I may need a part time job to support my habit - I mean hobby. The large platter in the front, the tiny cat cookie, and the stocking hanging for the table were extras thrown in by various vendors.- 1 comment

This is a typical holiday meal prepared by Grandma who really out-did herself this Thanksgiving. The family is mainly Italian, and for holidays they have something in the pasta line before the main course. That explains the spaghetti and meatballs along with the ham and turkey. -

Oliver Twist would have no problem asking for seconds after going over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house. Maybe it's because the holiday season is here that I am on a food binge, but I think it is more that I want to provide well for my little family. -

Amy inspected the party goods before the guests arrived. Grandpa promised the girls he would tell some of his ghost stories to their friends, although Grandpa himself thinks that nothing is scarier than a house full of little girls chatting away all night. -

Grandma set out some party samples for the girls before their guests arrived. The pie was for Grandpa so he wouldn't dabble too much in the girls' party snacks. -

The girls had a Halloween party last night, and Grandma wanted to make sure they had something substantial to eat before they indulged in party sweets. Heather and Holly were quick to place their personalized mugs on the table. -
From the album: Mosie's Room
This close-up view provides a closer look at the wallpaper and end table. Although the curtain is white, which matches with everything, it really helped Mo narrow down which wallpaper to pick for this room. Our friend Ann found the curtain, which Mo loved, and while several different wallpaper patterns went well with the loveseat and chair, the curtain brought out this pattern the best. The window, wallpaper, flooring, molding, and curtain were all purchased at the Dollhouse Factory in Lebanon, NJ. The table contains elements of home. The table itself reminds me of my grandmother's house, and who can resist a nice sandwich while sitting in a favorite arm chair? -
From the album: Minis I've Made
My first attempt at cake slices. I used translucent yellow for the yellow layer so in my next attempt I used something more opaque. -
