Hi from the Houston area of Texas, I just purchased the Garfield and patiently waiting for it arrive. I've read many many comments about the building of the Garfield and a lot of people have complained about the directions. All of the complaints were from years ago (2008/2009) and was curious if Greenfield has updated the directions at all. Most of the complaints were that the directions were hard to follow/understand but everyone has their ways of learning.

Sample: I say SEAL Next Person Change only ONE letter and there word is Deal The Next Person would change one letter and say: Dead Add your entry Now! The Word we are starting with is: DOLLHOUSE

Are the shingles in the Greenleaf store the same shingles that come with the kits? I'm using up some old shingles on a project and need to get some more. Thanks so much!

Hi all. I have a Greenleaf 1/2" Fairfield house that i bought off if Ebay not realizing it was 1/2 scale, and I don't like working but in 1"size. Before trying to sell on Ebay, i figured id ask here if anyone would be willing to trade it for a house kit they may have laying around in 1'size and I'll ship the Fairfield to you in return. I'm not really particular in what I'm looking for and open to anything Longs it's regular scale. The Fairfield is in the box and was open to make sure all contents were there. All pieces, wood, window sheets, and instructions are all there. If your interested in buying the house instead of a trade, let me know. Shoot me an email or leave me a message on here. I do hope to find someone with a house tho so i could work on that. As i stated I'm not picky n open to pretty much any type if house. Id be willing to pay for s+h . Ill give this about a week or so n see what type if response i get. Thanks everyone in advance. Hope to hear from you. Have a good one. If you would like pictures of the kit, please let me know and ill message them to u. Thanks again, Kris

From the album: My Travel Finds
This was another craigslist find. It came as part of a package deal when I bought a Newport. I got the Newport in the box for $50 and when he said he had a partially assembled kit for $5, I didn't even ask what it was. It turns out it was a Coventry Cottage and by partially assembled he meant "dry fit." I think I will do a quick assembly and paint this summer and donate this.© 2013 All About Miniatures, LLC

Okay, so like many of us I have a lot of DH kits. I need to unload some in order to keep my sanity. I thought I would give forum members first crack before I throw them on eBay. A few items to know: PM's do not work. My Yahoo email address is in my profile. I am out of town on a business trip, so I may be a little slow to respond. Kits will go on a first spoken for, first go basis. Shipping will be parcel post from the Indianapolis area. We can work out the details later. I did not post pics. If you search hard enough you will find pictures of these DH's and kits. All are in the box and as far as I know are complete. I will update this posting as kits are sold. The list: Greenleaf Fairfield Greenleaf Buttercup Greenleaf Orchid (2) (one box has been opened / one is still sealed) Dura Craft Old Towne (this is the HO scale kit) Dura Craft San Franciscan (SF-550) Dura Craft Newberg (2) Dura Craft Cambridge Artply Tennyson Artply Whitney RGT Country Farmhouse (1/2 scale) RGT Vermont Farmhouse Junior RGT Georgetown (Walmer box) Thanks!!

Hello everyone. I had started a blog last year as part of a class assignment, and decided tonight to update it with a post about building The Canterbury by Greenleaf. It's not much at the moment (the blog, that is) but it's a start and thought I'd share. I will be updating it again this week as I have made more progress than my post shows. But, for anyone interested, I'm putting it out there. Comments are welcome! http://sparrowsview.wordpress.com
