This is the full effect of the rearranged bedroom. At first, I was being experimental, but I think I really like the room this way.- 4 comments

When I was kid I used to like rearranging my bedroom furniture. I usually got the urge to do that in the spring. These days I have more furniture, so rearranging is a bit more difficult. However, it is so much easier to move things in a dollhouse, so I took the liberty of placing Holly and Carrie's bed alongside the wall, just to see how it would look.-

Mickey and Minnie are sitting on a bench in Amy and Heather's bedroom. The Mickey Mouse is Amy's, and Minnie is Heather's, but the girls all share their belongings. It's a good thing because Carrie has a habit of running off with Mickey. -

All the wallpaper in this house comes from the Dollhouse Factory in Lebanon, NJ - except for the Raggedy Ann bedroom and the hallway. This print comes from Jennifer's free online wallpaper, which I printed on cardstock, and Bill from the Dollhouse Factory put it up for me. Originally, I was going to make this room a red, white, and blue boy's room, but when I saw this print, I was sold on it. I thought the Raggedy Ann print may have been too busy for the whole room, however, so the other walls and the hallway are done in a blue and white checked pattern, also taken from Jennifer's wallpaper selection. Note the blue and white checked paper above the rocking chair. - The dolls were purchased on eBay.
