From the album: Various Miniatures
My treasures arrived! A lot of the boxes are dusty, have rat teeth marks and smell of decades-long storage in a garage. All the pieces are in great condition, except a few spigots that came loose from age. This group is mostly the fancier pieces. I just LOVE the huge breakfront - that is going into the Hattery. The two display cabinets are great too, as is the fireplace. There are 2 sewing machines for my fabric shop. The organ pencil sharpener on the right will probably be steampunked into something else. The book blocks are a bit plain, might fancy them up a bit.© Lene Pieters

Okay, so I've been anxiously bidding on some lots on eBay and it would appear that I am now the proud owner of an enormous lot of assorted Chadwick Miller miniature furniture, along with some Hello Dolly pieces. They are: 1 curio cabinet 2 two drawer chests, 1 stove, 1 bunk bed, 1 fireplace set, 1 dresser with bench, 1 wooden bookcase, 1 stove, 1 refrigerator, 1 coat rack 1 baby carriage 1 curio cabinet, 1 dresser with bench, 1 breakfront, 1 hall mirror tree, 1 sink cabinet, 1 wooden crib, 1 country wash stand 1 wooden crib, 2 sewing machines, 1 hello dolly brass plated bed, 3 old fashion brass beds with mattress, 1 school desk and chair set, 1 3pc porcelein old fashion bathroom set Are these pieces very old? The boxes look like they're from the 1960's or 1970's with very plain designs and I cannot find much information online. The shipping might be astronomical to get them to Dubai, but I am super happy with the purchase price and can I just say...... three identical BRASS BEDS people, THREE of them! Whoowhoo happy Mother's Day to me!

I am putting this out there for our NAME Regional Coordinator. If anyone can help identify, please respond here and/or drop me a note. Photo is in my gallery. See link below or click here. I always enjoy a miniature search and today is a search trying to find information about an artisan. His name is Bill Miller. I have no idea who he is or where is his from but I have in my possession an outstanding miniature. This handcrafted , one of a kind water pump ( handle really operates) which was owned by NAME member Janet King from Martinsville, Indiana. Janet's collection was amazing and her friend and mine, Vicki Fox of Indianapolis has made sure since the passing of Janet this past year, many of Janet's miniatures are finding new homes. Vicki has donated this piece to the A-3 Region of NAME's Lexington All Scales Houseparty to be held May 17-19, 2013. The Houseparty has two special activities where Houseparty attendees have the opportunity to be the proud owners of special miniatures, vignettes, roomboxes and even dollhouses. This piece will be at HP13 and wants a new home BUT I want to know more abut Mr. Miller. Who can help me locate this man or find out more about him? http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&image=86211
