I am not happy with the plexi glass windows I made with lead strips, the plexi glass wont stay put for one thing, I have several Lawbre tall triple pane windows as you see one taped in place, I can order double pane and Teri at Lawbre said she could make me a single pane for the side pieces. they seem like they would be a perfect fit once I cut away the old panes. What do you think? -

I am trying out another design, for the top center window/ door. Its inspired by a house I purchased last year, I want to order some thinner detail strips as well they will make a big difference, But now I want to try something with the other windows, a new design that will help me see in and also see out to the gardens easier. -

Playing around here, but planning on gates and benches, more ground cover for realism, a large tree in middle at Christmas time [ you can see I use a lot of tacky until my work is permanent! ] -

My Husband gave me the idea of a hedge maze or gardens after he saw my refection pool set up, I LOVE IT so, I found a longer board, and am drawing out hedge patterns, for both sides and imagining what you might see there as you walk through, I will be off to hobby lobby today for sure! -

Taking some risks trying different ideas, I can always change it if I dont like it right?, I am considering different colors on different sections like Salisbury House, I have pictures posted in my inspiration album of Salisbury House. I am thinking I may remove a piece above the door to add a more substancial crown to the door and a decorative mold I made. I may go with a lighter color in that middle section to tie itl together all the way up the 3 stories, and at some point will give the little balcony and doorway some attention© Debora's Dollhouse Designs

This is one of the rooms where the floor boards are wanting to pop up, so I starting putting in baseboards to hold them down and building some wood paneled areas under the window, I think the floor problem started because I extended the floors and there is some support lacking in one corner, working on fixing that also. Hoping I can touch up those floors . -

I would like to know what you think about the spiral wood trim scale does it work? I like it, I think it works since this is a very large manor, but sometimes you look back and think ''what was I thinking?'' Today I am working on and staining more wainscotting for 3 more rooms and decided to fashion another door that fits and could be opened, early stage pictured here. -

Took the back off for the first time in months, fixing window glass that keeps slipping, dusting, and also working on some wainscotting. I have a couple rooms where the floor boards want to pop up, not sure why, but I bought some double sided adhesive sheets a while back, will try that, prob work on chimneys soon also. -

This house was just a shell and quite stripped down, I wish I knew its former condition, but I can tell where things used to be.OH how I would love to know more about its former life! Well the exterior has been a little hard to figure out, exactly the best way to go, so far just some paint and trying different stone type finishes, here I have added a base coat to walkway and some pillars that rise 3 stories. Something used to be there, the wood is a little damaged there -

Stayed up late working on an exterior idea, and another one took hold after I sat back and surveyed my work, it was too late to change anything, I am glad I was not hasty and left as it was until morning, Still working on the darker areas but just added the contrast to middle section. more to come.....
