From the album: Madison Modifications!
I really wanted to include my mom's cats in the house - they mean the world to her. I love the look of needle felting, but beautiful artisan animals were not in the budget... time to learn a new craft! I bought an inexpensive kit (the penguin) and then made my own cat (not quite to DH scale) before tackling my mom's cats. I'm pretty pleased with how they came out. They will look much better once I give them eyes! (On order - the smallest Siamese blue eyes I could find are 2mm fishing lure supplies!) -

New techniques in felting and antler creation AND new glass eyes make these mounts much fancier than version one.© PorcelainPoppy 2013

Loving the addition of the glass eyes. Having second thoughts about these particular antlers. May have to redo them due to bubbling in the polymer clay.© PorcelainPoppy 2013
