I've waited for two weeks for an estate sale that pictured a bunch of magazine binders but didn't show the contents. Can you imagine my excitement to find they were all filled with mint condition magazines? You'll find me on the sofa for the next 8 weeks.

Well, looks like we'll be going on another adventure soon so I am offering my collection of Nutshell News for sale. 1987 through 1995. A few are missing, some are missing pages, but these are a fantastic resource. Unfortunately, as these would be very heavy, I am offering as pickup only or I could meet you halfway if you are not too far away. Make me an offer, it's time they went on to someone who can use them.

I'm looking for the instructions from the May 1990 Nutshell news for the canning veggies and honey bear. Anyone have this magazine and be willing to part with it or send a .pdf of those articles my way? There is one on Ebay at the moment and I put in an offer, but I'm not hopeful about them accepting. Otherwise, does anyone know of good online tutorials for the bears in particular? I'm sure I could figure out the canning, but the bear shaped honey will be a bit harder. I see some cheapie ones on ebay too, but I'm not sure I trust the seller due to the rating, don't really want 4, and would like to see what the nutshell folks proposed for making them myself.

This gave me a good laugh. Since I knew I was going to be laid up after surgery I figured I needed some reading material. I bought some Nutshell News issues off of eBay a few weeks ago. This is what the box looked like when it arrived. Anybody need a stamp??
