Oliver Twist would have no problem asking for seconds after going over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house. Maybe it's because the holiday season is here that I am on a food binge, but I think it is more that I want to provide well for my little family. -
From the album: Scenes & Other Minis
Each one has a fried egg, two strips of bacon, and toast. Every piece was hand sculpted out of Polymer clay, colored with chalk pastels/acrylic paint, and glued to a hand made cardboard platter. Everything was given a thin coat of Polycrylic to seal in the color and create a nice semi-gloss finish. I hand paint platters as sets to help keep track of each series. Each new series has a unique color and pattern. This blue plate series includes the "Miniature Cookie Platters". Originally a series of 6 (one was sold at a show, so there's only 5 left now).
