This is a kit by DANA Burton. We created Room Boxes in our translation of a what a 1950's Glam Closet would look like. Its my first time creating anything like this and it was a blast AND a ton of little itty bitty work. -

I was fortunate to take a class with Dana Burton at the God Sam Show. I got to meet Nellie and some other nice ladies. The doll's face is painted by Dana Burton. At the class she teaches you how to dress her. I'm hooked on Dolls!- 2 comments

Glue is still drying here but today I started work on Brett, she's from a Doreen Sinnett mold. I made silk drawers for her to go under her nightgown. Used a Marie Wheat pattern, added cotton lace and silk ribbon trim. Jeannine was kind enough to send me this cool sari silk, it's a dream to sew with. Brett will be my Mother doll in the Christmas scene I'm working on.
