  1. I submitted my pumpkins for the regional pumpkin carving contest and I won. Just want to share the colorful colors with you. Here in Texas the leaves are still green on the trees. The 2nd one is the current fairy house that I started last night. Thanks for stopping by. https://www.flickr.com/photos/54971771@N04/albums/72157716749195306 https://www.flickr.com/photos/54971771@N04/albums/72157716753309977
  2. I've just come back from a few months hiatus, while I've worked on improving my techniques for making mini pottery. Put a few of them on Etsy, though I've got more I'll be adding by and by. Perusing the forums, I see that I should be using some other measure of scale than a dime, so with upcoming photos I'll change that scale prop. MesoWorks at Etsy. I'm also on Instagram, same name MesoWorks, but won't link in case it's not allowed. I have more stuff on there, just for show not necessarily sale.
  3. From the album: Ravenscroft Manor

I think I'm up to about 22 jack-o-lanterns that I've finished so far. I'm obsessed lol Different colored clays, glow-in-the-dark or not, flickering candles inside them or just static glowing lights. I couldn't load a video so, here's a link to them glowing here
  4. From the album: Scenes & Other Minis

152 quarter inch scale pumpkins. I wrote more about them on DeviantArt.

  6. From the album: Country House - Renovated

The living room was the last room in the house to get curtains, which really complete this room. The room also has a TV set in it now, although the screen is facing the love seat. The TV has a pumpkin on it. When my father completed this kit in 1979, I didn't want a television because I thought it would be too modern for the house. At that time all the mini TV's I saw were plastic, and I wanted to stick with wood. But now, wooden television consoles can also be considered antiques. So now Grandma is happy because she has another antique, Grandpa is happy because he no longer has to go to the bar to watch a ball game, and the girls are happy because they can do their homework in front of a TV set.

    Fall Fest 2013

From the album: Country House - Renovated

Ironically, I am posting this on the first day of fall, which came early for my miniature family. The fall is my favorite season, and this year, I am not looking forward to Christmas because I will have to put my leaves away for another year. - Holly and Carrie may be up past their bedtime because it looks like there is a light up in their room. Either that or it is a reflection of the moon.

    Side Garden, Fall

From the album: Country House - Renovated

This is what the side garden looks like in the fall. Now I should really get something for that flower box.

    Great Grandparents

From the album: Country House - Renovated

The girls' great-grandparents come to visit often. They love to sit out on the porch and watch the people go by. On Halloween, they dress up like scarecrows and scare the kids when they come for candy, because they themselves are just kids at heart. They better be going inside soon, as it is getting dark.

    Side Porch

From the album: Country House - Renovated

On the outside, the pumpkins are all along the wrap-around porch. On the inside, Grandpa is making tea.
  12. From the album: Scenes & Other Minis

At some point last Friday I decided to see how small I could actually make my miniature pumpkins...Turns out I can work pretty small, that's a dime btw. ~*~ Sold ~*~
