Hello, I am determined to finally finish my dollhouse I purchased 20 years ago. I want to understand what I bought, if it is a good house, the value..etc. I want to pass this down to my daughter along with the history of the house. I would appreciate input from any of you that are much more educated in this field than I currently am. Thank you.

Hey y'all! I'm nearing the completion of my Greenleaf mini-Christmas village set and getting ready to blow the farm on a large, 1:12 scale Garfield. But then I got to wonderin'; what is the kit quality difference between the two items? I mean, the village is what, six, approximately 1:48 scale buildings for under $40usd (as of this writing), and an actual (supposedly) 1:12 scale Garfield house for right around $350usd. Now that's a rather substantial difference in both scale AND cost! The quality of the die-cutting on the village is well, $40 bucks worth. Is the quality of the large scale models much better? I understand that there is a lot more wood involved (regarding the cost), but did Greenleaf take the extra time and effort to get the cuts "crisper" and more accurate / detailed to justify the cost? I'll probably be purchasing the house anyway. I just want to know what to expect.

I'm going to start to try to fix up my old dollhouse to give to my sister-in-law and future niece. We don't have any local stores here for purchasing supplies and such. I was hoping to get some recommendations for some sites to order through that aren't too expensive but yet have good quality supplies. I'm mainly just doing exterior work and may attempt to wallpaper. (I'm pretty new to this so will see how it goes) Thanks in advance! Angela
