The Kansas City show is coming up June 9 and 10 in Lee's Summit, MO. There are several classes available, including some new ones and another Dana Burton class. I'll be there both days and am signed up for several classes, plus Mom and I may be joined by all the ladies who are in our new mini club. Who else is planning to come?

Greetings, I just wanted to let everyone know that CIMTA this year has wholesale & retail. By offering retail we were able to attract a lot more exhibitors that didn't want to wholesale. Please join us! The rooms are super affordable and if you sign up for our mailing list you get 75% off your tickets. That makes entrance only $3.75 for two days when you pre-purchase online. The rooms are super affordable, and the mailing list for discount tickets is here: CIMTA Retail Information Thanks, Jeremy Gonzales CIMTA HQ

Nashville, TN Miniature Show September 11-12
Gonzo posted a topic in Current Miniature News & Events
Hi all! There is a miniature show in Nashville, TN this weekend if you can make it. Miniature Collector had published that a miniature show in Nashville was cancelled. That is NOT this show. It should be a great time with lots of awesome vendors. http://harvilleproductions.com/index.php/miniature-show-nashville-dollhouse/ -
Here we go! The NAME National Convention ends with a show this week and soon we are looking at several miniature shows throughout the US. Below is a list of shows that I will be attending as a vendor. This is very different from what I have done in the past, but things are different now. If you are going to any of these, please stop and say hello. August 15-16 Dayton, OH 3 Blind Mice Show August 22-24 Aztec Wholesale Show in Aurora, OH August 28-29 Chicago Fall Show from Tom Bishop September 5-7 Orlando Miniaturia September 11-12 Nashville, TN presented by Harville Productions September 18-19 Indianapolis presented by the Museum of Miniature Houses October 24 Louisville, KY November 5-8 Philadelphia Miniaturia Wholesale and Retail Shows November Chicago Wee "c" Miniature Show (tentative) I know there are other shows, but these are the ones I am attending. More details on each as we get closer. The Bishop show will have more vendors than in the past. Orlando is a new show and it is a holiday weekend, so it is hard telling about attendance. It is on Disney grounds, so that may help.

The 2015 Branson Dollhouse Miniature Show will be Saturday, June 27, 2015, 9 am to 5 pm. I'll be there with my friend NJ. (It's her husband's birthday that weekend. She felt guilty about abandoning him, so we're dragging the spouses along with us. They can go fishing or something while we're at the show. We promised them dinner and a stage show that night to celebrate the birthday. What won't we do to feed our passion, eh? ) Is anyone else going? Would be fun to meet up.

If you are within driving distance of Louisville, be sure to stop by this year's miniature show on Saturday, October 25 from 10am - 4pm. I had the opportunity to sell there last year and they do a great job of promoting the show. It says "over a dozen" vendors. Unfortunately, they have not posted a list of vendors. I can tell you that I will be there. Other than that, it will make for a nice surprise. Hope to see you there! Below is the link to their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/events/1679681848924349/

Well, it's that time of year again. Time for the Aztec Wholesale Show. I am looking forward to attending (as a buyer). I always like to see the new products that are being released. It is also a great time to make new supplier contacts. A couple of things -- I am looking for suggestions for inventory. What items are you having trouble locating? I realize you can find almost anything online anymore, but what is it you need that nobody seems to carry or carry at a decent price? What do you need? Go to my Facebook page (link is below) and read the August 2nd post. I will do what I can to help you. https://www.facebook.com/AllAboutMiniatures I also have a couple of guest badges if anyone is within a few hours driving distance. One male and one female badge. There are no buying privileges with them, but we can work around that.

I will also be at the Museum of Miniatures Indianapolis show in September and the Louisville Miniature Club show in October. http://3blindmiceshow.com/dayton/ http://www.museumofminiatures.org/events.html http://www.louisvilleminiatureclub.org/expo.html

I was going through the forum and noticed there was a nice four page topic about the 2012 Chicago show(s). I was just wondering who is attending from here. I have seen a couple of people post, but not many. I have to be in Atlanta that Monday through Wednesday to give some training presentations, but definitely plan on getting up there. I just got my credentials for the Bishop Wholesale Show, which means driving up to Chicago Wednesday night after flying home from Atlanta, spending Thursday and Friday in Chicago, back to Indianapolis Friday afternoon and then back to Chicago for the retail portions of the Bishop and the 3 Blind Mice shows for the weekend. I am really looking forward to it since I missed last year. I just wish I had time to take in a workshop or two. That will definitely be in the plan next time around. So...who's going???

Is anyone going to this show in September? http://www.museumofminiatures.org/events.html I think Cyd (Mad for Mod) is entering her Atomic Bungalow. Is anyone else close enough to make the trip? I was out of town last year, but am definitely going this year. I just wish I had thought to get something together for an entry.

Okay, since I am still fairly new to minis (one year) I am not familiar with all of the shows. I am thinking about running up to Chicago in a couple of weeks for the Bishop show. I know it isn't anything like the Spring show, but is it worth attending? Is anyone from the forum going? It is only a three hour drive for me and I am thinking about making a weekend out of it with the wife. All thoughts, comments and notes on attending are welcome. I think it would be great if anyone from our little GL family wanted to get together for lunch or dinner or something. I am always up for learning from others. http://www.bishopshow.com/chif.htm
