1. Decided to try my hand at steampunking one of my resin ladies. Here's the before and after:
  2. From the album: Steampunk

This started life as some kind of furniture plug. I think this took almost as long as the rest of her!

  3. From the album: Steampunk

<p>&lt;p&gt;Here she is! Another resin person jazzed....&lt;/p&gt;</p>

  4. From the album: Steampunk

<p>&lt;p&gt;Sherlock wants steam-powered shutters on the front bay so had to come up with a power source. Still have a couple things to add, but stayed up until 3 am doing this! Note to self: don't watch Liam Neeson movies before bed!&lt;/p&gt;</p>

  5. From the album: Steampunk

<p>&lt;p&gt;This will be applied to the exterior of the Canterbury.Always tea time at the summer house....&lt;/p&gt;</p>

  6. From the album: Steampunk

This is a watch face from a watch I tore apart and bits and bobs that looked steampunky.

  7. From the album: Steampunk

Used a few more of Vicki's gears and just had fun putting this together!

  8. I steampunked a resin gentleman this morning--like how he came out! Visit my gallery for before and after pictures. http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&album=6820
  9. Sherlock left specific instructions about the rocking chair he wanted on my bench this morning. Got out the magnifying glass to read his writing and also discovered detailed blueprints. After laboring over the chair, he announced between hookah puffs that he wanted a asbestos cushion to sit on. After explaining that it's not healthy to have that around, he gave me a withering look and said he wasn't going to put his face in it but would be sitting on it. Guess that will be the next project! So he is happy for a little while anyway--hope you enjoy the eye candy!
  10. From the album: Steampunk

This was a rubber diving mask from one of my kids toys. Since I used the hose on the teapot, was wondering what I could do with the rest of it. Some watch parts came yesterday that I ordered from Ebay and I had an Aha moment this afternoon! They make me laugh out loud!

  11. Here's the link to my steampunk teaset. It was fun to do! http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&image=101031
  12. From the album: Steampunk

Added a valve to the steam tank so Sherlock can regulate how much steam he needs...don't want him to go rocketing across the room!

  13. From the album: Steampunk

From this view, you can see the water tank with gauge which also serves as a counterweight

  14. From the album: Steampunk

Made these from small rubber O rings, black wrapper from printer paper, reduced print of gauges and a circle of clear plastic. Also found out I need a new paper punch...

  15. Casey showed concern over the open flame running the clock so I have installed a heat shield on the side so she won't lay awake at night worrying whether my house will be going up in flames or not.
  16. From the album: Steampunk

Just a touch of whimsy....(I just love that word!)

  17. From the album: Steampunk

Now the candle can burn safely....as long as it doesn't catch the drapes on fire..hmmm

    © Debra A. Morin

  18. From the album: Steampunk

Sherlock found the clock to be a bit top heavy, so made some practical adjustments....

  19. From the album: Steampunk

Had lots of fun with gears and parts here--really looks like it does something!

  20. From the album: Steampunk

Lots of little pieces here including gears from Vicki's timer!

  21. From the album: Steampunk

The butler was having trouble lugging this thing to the tea table, so put handles on it for him.

  22. Okay, the steampunk teaset is on the drawing board and I have my supplies. Now I have a question--what do you steampunkers recommend for glueing metal, wood, wire and plastic together?
  23. From the album: Miniature "Scenes" I've Made for Art Shows or Contests

For a steampunk themed show - figure is carved from wood in one sixth scale.
