From the album: Miniatures "Things" I've made
Its been awhile since Ive made furniture, but my Pierce has stood vacant long enough. Made the table and chairs, couldn't decide on which hutch design so I made them both. I also made the coffee table and matching side tables for the living room. Bought a 40 piece China set on Ebay for 10 dollars (free shipping all the way from China)..from China to my mailbox in 4 days! Wasn't expecting much in quality but to my surprise the china pieces are very very nicely scaled and delicate.... -
Hi Everyone, I'm new and super excited and a little overwhelmed. My Beacon Hill kit just arrived and I've never done anything like this before. I'd love some tips as to how to get set up as far as the workspace. For example, should I get a piece of plywood to build this on and if so what size is recommended? Are there any suggestions for a table I could buy maybe at home depot, etc. that would be a good workspace for this? What does everyone else do to prepare for this type of build? Thanks! Best, Ellyssa

Hi Miniaturists, I had expectations of getting into painting and decorating dollhouse furniture, but it's just not practical right now in my life. I have several rooms of wood furniture that I'd like to sell. All furniture is in its original box but I've taken some room photos so you can see it all together. 4 piece bedroom includes double bed, side table, dresser and blanket chest/toy box. 3 Piece Craft Room – Armoire, work table, stool and tiny thread spools 3 Piece Office/Den – Bookcase, table, chair, will include book and picture frame 4 Piece Modern Dollhouse Living Room Set – sofa, upholstered chair, coffee table and ornate armchair *Note: the upholstered furniture does not come in boxes. If interested, please Message me Thank you!

From the album: 2014 HBS Creatin' Contest--Erabliere Aucoin, Sugar Shack and Shop
The finished picnic tables. The longer table has been finished in an aged building-lumber look, as if it was a DIY project built by the Aucoins themselves, perhaps early on in their ownership of the sugar shack; the three shorter tables are finished in a fresh "redwood" look, more like what we might buy from a home store when we're feeling ready to upgrade.-

From the album: 2014 HBS Creatin' Contest--Erabliere Aucoin, Sugar Shack and Shop
Outside of the sugar shop, there will be a seating area for visitors to relax and sit with their maple treats. These picnic tables are built from a New Yankee Workshop plan (love that show and LOVE redoing Norm's projects in mini!!), scaled down to 1:12.-

Inspired by French Louis XV furniture, I marbleized the table top, painted the legs, and added gold accents.© Jenny Costa

From the album: Mosie's Room
This close-up view provides a closer look at the wallpaper and end table. Although the curtain is white, which matches with everything, it really helped Mo narrow down which wallpaper to pick for this room. Our friend Ann found the curtain, which Mo loved, and while several different wallpaper patterns went well with the loveseat and chair, the curtain brought out this pattern the best. The window, wallpaper, flooring, molding, and curtain were all purchased at the Dollhouse Factory in Lebanon, NJ. The table contains elements of home. The table itself reminds me of my grandmother's house, and who can resist a nice sandwich while sitting in a favorite arm chair? -

Another great piece from the Aztec show. This is a "Good Spell Table" from Chris Higgins of 'Crickets and Caterpillars.' She does some great work and is now doing some steampunk items.© 2013 All About Miniatures, LLC

I was trolling around the internet during a conference call this afternoon (I know, I should have been paying attention). I found a half scale (Playmobil) craps table printable that I thought was pretty cool. The best part is that you can adjust it on your copier for quarter or one inch. http://www.millionai.../crapstable.php
