When Carrie saw the dining room, she thought Santa would get in trouble for messing up Grandma's house, but her eyes quickly adjusted to the scene as she checked out the dollhouses with Holly. The girls are very appreciative, and Amy is hugging Grandma, while Heather is waiting for Grandpa to put is arms around her. The girls knew they were loved, but they didn't know their grandparents were this crazy. - Carrie thinks Santa bought the gifts, but she will hug her grandparents anyway. -

Carrie is the youngest (only 6), but from this picture it looks like she got the least. In "reality," however, she made out quite well. She got a wooden doll carriage with a teddy bear in it, a vintage Mickey Mouse subtraction kit as she likes math and enjoys playing school, and story books. I have a feeling Santa will bring a few more things her way. -

This is a close-up of Holly's beadmaker kit. All the girls's vintage items were purchased from Wright Guide Miniatures at the Philadelphia Miniaturia, except for Amy's Beatles and Shirley Temple items, which were purchased from eBay. -

Holly is a delightful 8-year-old who doesn't ask for much, except for Chinese checkers and a jump rope. She is also into crafts, so Grandma got her a beadmaker kit and some paper dolls, both which are vintage items. -

This is a brief inventory of some of the gifts the girls will be getting for Christmas this year. Since this picture was taken, two more dolls were added to the collection. I know I spoil these little people, but my niece grew up too fast, is now 26, and is no longer fun to buy gifts for. - And if I am going to buy gifts, I might as well have fun! -
