  1. We are reviving the swap! Our first swap will be spring themed and I will serve as the hub. participants so far are listed at the bottom. The theme is Spring! You make what you do best. If it can be timeless, that would be great. Scale is 1/12. Closing date to sign up is February 24. Items are due to me by Friday March 24 (so be sure to mail them with enough time to get to me). Should you have to drop out, please let me know asap. It's not fair to the others to put in time on an item if they don't have to. I will mail it all out sooner if I get it all sooner. Please enclose $10 for postage in the US. You can also contact me for Venmo or Zelle payment. If it is less, I refund, if it's more, I cover it. I do this for fun, I don't expect anyone to make me an item because they have to - it's optional. If you sign up for the swap, please send me your name and address in a message- do not post personal info here. It doesn't matter what it costs to make the item, but the VALUE of the finished product should be worth about $10. Please package each item individually so I don't have to unwrap and rewrap them. While you all know who is participating, what you are making is a secret! If you have any questions, you can ask me or tell me what you are making. Hints are fine to tease other participants with. Items should be the same but don't have to be identical (like a blue one, a purple one, etc) I will message each person with my address and they can give me theirs. That is all I can think of right now. Particpants J_Sea LPCullen intrinsicat blueridgepaws
  2. Good evening' folks! So I am looking for a few specific items and while of course I can go buy them, I thought wouldn't it be nice to see if someone was interested in doing a barter/trade. I am looking for: A few packs of realistic cans for canned foods. A old fashioned coka-cola bottle or glass looking soda bottle. Glass bottles, vases, potion bottles. A midcentury modern couch that looks like this: Couch A few stacks of book binder ends, bounded old style> (no need for pages) A few scrolled shelves or fancy brackets. You know the work that I do, so in trade you get to create / choose or request things that you need, want or cannot find anywhere. I will trade items for items listed or multi items depending on larger more valuable things listed. This trade is only available to established Greenleaf members who are "known" here to protect both you and I from scam. I am only trading in the US for cost. PM me to work out details and see if we can help each other out ! Thanks! ~J
  3. I am selling a brand new, never out of the box, Laser Dollhouse Designs, 1/2 scale Victorian Dollhouse kit. 1/4 scale is my choice of build. This house kit was purchased April 12, and I would like to sell it, or trade it for a 1/4 scale house kit. Please contact me. Thanks, kdnorman
  4. I was excited to bid and win on the Heritage Dollhouse recently. Sadly, I bid on the one that was missing parts instead of the New In Box (okay, my fault). Wondering if anyone out there has leftover parts from their Heritage or other Duracraft House...Please PM if you can help, I'm happy to compensate for parts and shipping. It's crazy I know, but worth a shot. Ironically, I have 3 sheets of H10 and the directions do not note this unless I've misunderstood... I will continue to peruse Craigslist, eBay, Etsy, shopgoodwill.com, and the Seattle Miniature Show this weekend. Perhaps the dollhouse angels will smile and send one my way. I tried to attached the file with highlighted pictures but it is too large. Basically, I'm missing all the gutter, downspout, brackets, posts and trim along with the following sheets: HR-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, and 12 Maybe there is someone out there with the same situation or three sheets of something! Thank you for reading and happy dollhousing!
  5. Hello, this is my very first post here as I've only just joined this community forum, so be kind!! My name's Niccy, and I'm 1 third of Magpies-Miniatures.net... Magpies-Miniatures is a family run business, from Near Ulverston, in Cumbria, UK. We are based on the edge of the stunning Lake District, and have a good deal of country air running through our lungs, and we consider ourselves to be extremely lucky to bring our services to you from such a beautiful corner of the world. There are three faces here behind the scenes - Mandy is the business owner, founder, and holds great knowledge in all things miniature. She has been behind the scenes from the very beginning, and with the help of her husband, Jon - is the one responsible for the website!. Jon has been the quietest member of the team, but his talents in computer programming, databases and the fact he's extremely artistic and fantastic at any craft he sets his mind to- he's incredible valuable in our eyes, and those of our business too. The newest member of the team is myself, Niccy. I am the daughter of Mandy and Jon, and hold college qualifications in Art and Design, which is where my passion lies. I have taken on the role of keeping the website updated and looking fresh, with improved stock photography, and dealing with social media. All of us have something different to give to the business, which is why we work so well together as a team, in keeping our business running smoothly, and bringing you the service you'd expect as a customer, which has so many of you returning. We stock dolls' house miniatures from a host of suppliers- including heirloom-quality Jia Yi Miniatures, Bespaq, wallpapers from Jackson's, and furniture and accessories from Streets Ahead, Warwick Miniatures, plus fabulously impressive self-build (DIY) kits from McQueenies, and Phoenix Models. If you are looking for something specific and are struggling to find it, again please get in touch and we can have a scout around our suppliers to find what you are looking for. We will always go the extra mile for each and every one of our customers. We hope you enjoy looking around our webstore, find us at www.magpies-miniatures.net I will be popping on to the forums again soon to participate elsewhere, but for tonight my bed's calling!! Goodnight folks, hope to wake to some replies and friendly waves! - Niccy
  6. Hi all. I have a Greenleaf 1/2" Fairfield house that i bought off if Ebay not realizing it was 1/2 scale, and I don't like working but in 1"size. Before trying to sell on Ebay, i figured id ask here if anyone would be willing to trade it for a house kit they may have laying around in 1'size and I'll ship the Fairfield to you in return. I'm not really particular in what I'm looking for and open to anything Longs it's regular scale. The Fairfield is in the box and was open to make sure all contents were there. All pieces, wood, window sheets, and instructions are all there. If your interested in buying the house instead of a trade, let me know. Shoot me an email or leave me a message on here. I do hope to find someone with a house tho so i could work on that. As i stated I'm not picky n open to pretty much any type if house. Id be willing to pay for s+h . Ill give this about a week or so n see what type if response i get. Thanks everyone in advance. Hope to hear from you. Have a good one. If you would like pictures of the kit, please let me know and ill message them to u. Thanks again, Kris
  7. Hello. I'm looking for a few things and figured I would try here first before going elsewhere. First off I'm looking for Beatles fabric. Anything you have. doesn't have to be huge pieces, even leftover scraps would help. And as many designs as you have if possible. I had a ton, and lost it moving and you can no longer buy it. I'm willing to pay for it, and S+H, but would really like to find someone who'd be interested in possibly trading some fabric? I have lots, and different types and colors that would be perect for mini, It's up to you. When you contact me, or reply just let me just let me know which you're interested in. Second, I'm looking for a couch, loveseat, settee, armchair, stuff like that. Condition doesn't really matter. I'm going to reuppholster it with the Beatles fabric longs I can find some. It can be older, used, leftover, anything. Longs I can redo it. No plastic tho. lol. I'm thinking two small pieces that would go together. So any combo of the above. Like I said, armchair and couch, two chairs, couch and loveseat, loveseat and armchair, lounge, etc. I plan on doing a Beatles "Room" and do it all up with my Beatles posters and stuff I have of my own, and make a little scene in a shadow box I have and want to work with. Making a beatles cross stitch rug atm, and going thru all my magazines and other items I have, plus anything I can find online. So that's where the Beatles fabric and chair/couch comes in at. Also, if you have anything else that you think would fit and go in the room, let me know. I don't have a ton to spend, and plan on most of it myself. I'm debating on making a record player, or possibly buying or looking for one. Not sure yet. I see it in my head. But it will be a blast for me as im a huge finatic! XD So Please let me know what you have and we can go from there! Thanks all so much . Here's some of the little things I have for the walls and shelves. Also have a pair of round "Lennon" glasses I want ti make blue or green with "Glass"... I really can't wait to work on this project once I find at least the fabric! Fingers crossed. Kris
