  1. From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bathroom

A little scuffing up and some paint gave these fixtures just the right amount of age and charm!

    Bedroom

From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bedroom

The bedroom cozy corner with a few of the textiles I made.
  3. From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bedroom

I was never a fan of the original staircase that came with the kit. It felt out of proportion and lacked detail. In my initial kit bashing, I cut off the original wall section here and created a new one from various porch and stair materials.
  4. From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bedroom

Here is the finished bedroom all dressed up with a few of the textiles I made.
  5. From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bedroom

One of the most obvious changes I made to this room was the removal of the fireplace. This house had no closet space so I turned the once fireplace into a faux closet.
  6. From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bedroom

When I took this picture, I was still finishing up the stair well, but you can see a wide shot of the rest of the finished room.
  7. From the album: The Glencroft Dollhouse: Bathroom

Heres a shot of the bathroom taken from the unfinished bedroom. The lighting coming into my studio this morning was beautiful so I couldnt resist!
  8. From the album: Tudor -ish House

Still working on the real life house, I have four houses on my large front porch, I have been painting and installing new carpet on my porch, its the only part of the house with carpet, but it helps keep it more comfortable, warmer and less noisy when you walk accost it, so all of the houses are getting moved around during this project.

    Simplistic

From the album: Tudor -ish House

I have left the interior alone here for now, with other projects to tend to. The most important being my real life house getting some needed attention, from bat removal in the attic, yes bats UGH! to basement cracking and foundation shifting due to severe drought, to going through every area of the house, tossing the unused. cleaning, painting, reorganizing [ even dollhouse supplies] weatherizing and simplifying everything. The good news is I am making huge progress, and will be back to dollhouse designing when the weather turns cold:) Simplistic is my new trend in my Real Life house for sure!
