From the album: Country House - Renovated
This is a typical holiday meal prepared by Grandma who really out-did herself this Thanksgiving. The family is mainly Italian, and for holidays they have something in the pasta line before the main course. That explains the spaghetti and meatballs along with the ham and turkey. -

Oliver Twist would have no problem asking for seconds after going over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house. Maybe it's because the holiday season is here that I am on a food binge, but I think it is more that I want to provide well for my little family. -

A tiny hand woven turkey shaped basket, two napkins, and a small pile of rolls. I know someone had a life-sized one of these during my childhood Thanksgivings, but I don't know whatever happened to it. I started making them in miniature last year. Took some trial and error, but I got the design down over the summer and started officially selling these at local shows this year. Every one is an original one of a kind, so I list them one at a time online. Materials; Polymer clay Bead wire embroidery floss acrylic paint Polycrylic sealer paper (the napkins) Available at my Etsy shop; https://www.etsy.com/listing/164664581/tiny-turkey-basket-thanksgiving-dinner?ref=shop_home_active© Kyle Lefort 2013
