Hi, I have been poring over all the posts on this forum and have found so much incredible information from all of you! However, I have a few questions that I can't seem to get my head around. I just bought the Vermont Farmhouse Jr. kit, and opened the box tonight. I have most of the tools, glue, etc., that I think I need, but I'm not sure about a few things. 1. I would like to have lights in the house but I'm not sure how to go about that. Is that something I need plan/buy now before I even start, or can I put the house together and then work on the electric as I work on the rooms? 2. I'm a little confused about what the extra are in the VF Jr and what is included. For example, many of the houses I've seen have a railing on the staircase and a landing, but I don't see that in the instruction photos. Are those extra? And what about interior doors? Sorry for this but I'm a little confused. Is there anything else that you would recommend to supplement the look? Thanks so much! Mardee

So I have the Cir-Kit Starter Wiring Kit and an extra 15' roll of tapewire, but I have no idea how to start. I found the tutorial by Darrell Payne that was pointed out, but the link is dead. I also found something by him on Miniatures.com but it seems to start in the middle of the process, and I have no clue how to get to that point. Is there a straightforward tutorial or video or something that will get me started? Something like "Wiring a Dollhouse for Dummies"? 🙄 My house body is assembled and is ready for wiring so I'd like to move forward. I do have the Tapewire Instruction Book from the Cir-Kit, but wasn't sure how useful it is. It's sort of Greek to me right now. Thanks for any help you can give me! FWIW, I have the Vermont Farmhouse Jr. house and am planning on wiring all 3 floors (I hope!).

From a distance it looks like we are approaching a winter wonderland. The Christmas tree changes color, and the string of lights on the porch is perfect. -

This is the completed outside of the Vermont Farmhouse, Jr., manufactured by Real Good Toys. Before she started the house, we discussed the many color possibilities, and Maureen decided to go with traditional farmhouse colors. I think she made a wise choice. -
