My Thornhill house has wiring for lighting inside and I want to wallpaper some walls, but make others plain. Will I have to paste a plain coloured piece of paper to hide the wiring? What weight of paper is best?

Hello, my mom passed away a few years ago and I decided to finish off her dollhouse project (lol... 'finish'). She already had some wallpaper installed and others ready to be installed. Some of the installed wallpaper is horribly discolored, brownish, fading and just plain awful. Others are fine. Of the uninstalled wallpaper, some of it is already faded at the edges, although the items were never in the sun. There are other papers in mint condition. I don't want to replace the wallpaper with something that is going to fade and discolor again but there are no brand names on any of the papers I have. There are no dollhouse shops near me which forces me to buy online, where I cannot assess the true quality of the paper. I'm wondering what the best brand is so I dont have this problem again. I prefer a heavier wallpaper rather then the regular paper weight as it is easier for me to install. Thank you for any advice! Kris

Hi, my name is Laura. I will try to make this quick. My parents had a doll house built for me in 1984. It was is really great condition until accidentally swiped it with my car because we had just moved and it was in my garage. Yes, I cried! Anyway, I have decided to fix it up. I am just not sure what to do first. I bought new carpet, wall paper, new shingles and paint. I have no idea if or how i should remove the old shingles or just replace the ones that are broken. I don't know if I should paint the house and shutters first. ( i hope i bought the right paint) And I don't know when i should put the wall paper up (i hope i bought the right wall paper glue) Basically, if anyone could please give me any advice i would really appreciate it. I also knocked down the beautiful pillars. I will attach some pics. Thank you in advance. (it wouldn't let me upload the pics so I had to try this way) Thanks, Laura http:// http://
