For my Garfield, I don't want to electrify it but I do still want to put little lights in each room. Other than the glue option, could I use jewelry flat-pin wires? If I drilled a tiny hole in the ceiling/floor panel, then inserted the pin from the top - then bend the bottom into a little hook shape - would it be strong enough to hold a light fitting? I'm thinking that I could then do the floor covering for the upper floor and conceal the pin head. Does anyone have a better suggestion? Obviously this is an important step, especially with the bottom front corner room that will become inaccessible once the wall is up. Gosh, so many things to consider for each step of construction - I hope I'm not missing out on anything practical!
