AngieC
Once the foundation is done and glued and the gaps filled do I also add filler to the gaps in the tabs that are already glued? Not the open slots for the walls but the tabs and slots on the foundation that have been glued together. Thanx.
havanaholly
Unless you're going to cover them with some sort of foundations treatment such as lattice, brick or stone, you may want to fill them and sand them smooth before painting.
AngieC
Thanks that's what I thought.
doogster
I'm going to put lattice on the front (though not the stuff that came with the kit) and brickwork on the rear. I still filled the tabs, it's practice for when it really counts, and any sheet material will frequently lie down to mimic the surface. I lan on using the 'old brick' from HBS for the rear, obviously painted, I've seen it used to great effect on architectural models.
