I did not finish the roof, as it's going to take quite a bash to do that. The shell is complete, and it's now agreeing that it wants to be what I want it to be! I sent an email to greenleaf this morning, but haven't heard as of yet. I'm sure it was charged to the credit charge, but I'll go re-check that. Wonder if I mistyped my email, or something. Thank goodness I printed out my order page w/ order number. Kinda expected an email when I got home from work today, but nothing yet. You'll probably hear something tomorrow. :lol: All I had time to do after my kit arrived, was to caress the box, open it, take a quick look at the pieces - it's so much bigger than I'd imagined - and then had to hurry up with prep for a workshop I did tonight. (I posted on a different thread a day or two ago, about mixing up your dates - thought I had to run a workshop tonight, then thought I didn't, then realized suddenly that yes, it WAS tonight! What a mad dash around getting everything ready - and then a big rush to get there.) I'm so tired now, but I'm going to go stroke that lovely little kit, and dream of what I can do with it tomorrow. I've been resisting - do I really need ANOTHER project? - but i thinking of that rounded roof and what I could do with it...so many ideas. So I've ordered it. And started to collect pieces for the interior... and looked at paints and stains ...and made some sketches.. and can hardly wait to start. It is a mighty cute little place - so many possibilities of what it can be! Thank you so much Dean & Co.!! I have been working like crazy on the pieces for mine though. Even if the hosue never arrives at least the project has me back on the forum and trying some new things. Made my first doll. She is a __________ and then a ____________ and some _____________. Then I had a great idea for a ____________. She is entering the Fling too, but we have completely different ideas. ... And we can't keep secrets from each other. haha. I will post a gallery after the Fling is over.
