heidiiiii
Girl scouts are selling their lil brown and green uniforms off. I was wondering what your all time favorite Girl Scout Cookie is? My favorite, hands down, is Samoas a.k.a Caramel deLights. Love them! You have so many choices currently: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos (that is another fav of mine), Trefoils, Daisy go rounds, Thanks a Lot, Lemon Chalet Cremes...the newest for this year is Dulce de Leche. They always seem to retire cookies though. Do you remember one that was your favorite and now they do not sell them anymore? My Mom loved Pecan Shorties. Mmm! Coconut!! nechee
Here we have Girl Guide cookies. They are along the same lines as the Girl Scouts. The cookies that were always my favourite were something like the Thin Mints. They were a chocolate cookie with a mint cream in the middle and covered in chocolate. I used to love selling them and I cannot wait until my girls are old enough to join so I can get more of those delicious cookies.

havanaholly
Let them sell their little buns off! There are so many other sources of fats & salt I'd rather blow my diet allowance on than Girl Scout cookies these days, but we used to like the peanut butter sandwich cookies & the Thin Mints. Sherry
Samoas! If I'm going to pig out, I'll go for the richest, most fattening cookie in the bunch!
miniwendy
SAMOAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing even comes a close second in our house
twilight1000
Tagalongs, definitely! I'd buy 6 or 8 boxes and put some in the freezer. Did you ever notice that the cookies are usually delivered during Lent, when lots of folks are giving up sweets?
butlerestates
When I was younger it was Thin Mints! but chossing now I would have to say the Samoas and Thin Mints a close second!
smallhouset
Thin mints definately! The first year I as a Girl Scout, back when you got the cookies first then went to sell them. My scout leader told us they we needed a "cookie Mom" to organize the sale. So I said that my Mom would do it.The leader asked me if I was sure she wanted to do it. I told her I was sure Mom would love to do it. And then I forgot to tell my Mother that she had volentered. About 2 weeks later a semi pulled up in front of our house and the truck driver started to unload the cookies in the driveway. We had 100 cases of cookies! I thought my Mother was going to have a heart attack when she saw them! But Mom was a trooper, after the initial shock wore off and she talked to my leader and was assured that I had said she would love to do it, everything worked out great. We sold all but a few boxes and Mom was the "cookie Mom" for the next 4 years.
Jokelly
Ohh, they don't have one of my favorites on the list, All-Abouts. But they actually look like the Thanks-A-Lots. My favorite are the Thin Mints, followed by the Trefoils. I think the Thin Mints win because Walmart sells a shortbread cookie that tastes exactly like Trefoils and you can get them all year round. I haven't found a year round alternative to Thin Mints so they top my list. I did try the Dulce de Leche cookies this year and they're really good, but very fattening. I don't eat Samoas at all. I'm not a coconut fan. But Keebler used to make a version without the coconut that were great.

heidiiiii
Yummmmmmmm! the Samoas are my absolute favs too! Is it girl scout cookie time or something? Yes Monica. It is time. You should start seeing them stationed out in front of Walmart. They have the girls at Chelsea`s job (elementary students) selling. Chelsea bought a few more boxes. She didnt even ask me to pay her back! LOL
