glen
High All, thought it was about time I did a catch up. Here's our latest endeavor. Baby (now going to school, sob...sniff...blowing nose...) has been collecting those little Tinkerbelle and fairytale characters so we decided to bash together a fairy house for them to live in. Quite nice not having to be so formal with the building. Just lots of colours and flowers. Great fun and she supervised and instructed every step of the way. (boy has she a mind of her own!) Anyway, hope you like and best wishes to you all from New Zealand.
lmgervais
Oh, that is so cute - it looks like a boot! And, being Canadian, I love the cute touch of the Canadian flag on the top!
glen
Thanks, Missymew sent Kavita a few gifts for her dollhouse a couple of years back and she's never forgotten. In fact the other day she was going to give a speech at school and we asked her who gave her the dolls. Well she frowned and looked embarrassed and then suddenly ran off to her room. Ohoh we thought but she ran straight back out waving the flag and smiling. "Susanne from Canada" she happily yelled. What a hoot. Anyway, getting back to the topic, there are a few more pics here if anyone wants to look. http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~gasayers...house/index.htm Cheers Glen

glen
OK, today’s conversation. "Daddy, can we put a pool into ariel’s red room." "NO!" puppy dog look "pleeaassee" sigh "I'll see what I can do." (now stupidly committed) "Daddy?” "Yes" "It has to have a water fall and a lily with a tiny tiny frog sitting on it." Sound of dad hitting head against wall. Wish me luck.

glen
Thanks, I did manage to find a "tiny tiny frog" in a jewelers shop. But guess who didn't count the right number of LED.s for the house? Cheers

Roxxie
Are those electric or battery lights? I love the affect!
glen
What a hoot, well this has all gotten completely out of hand. As they do. Added a spotlight to the tree and completed the internal lighting. These are just battery operated super bright led's. Just means she can wander around the house with it or take it to the batch. Should last several hours on a set of batteries. There's also a sneak preview of the pool and waterfall but I'll post a better picture when the water dries clear. Should be about 4-5 hours I hope. Thanks for showing some interest.

glen
Thanks, Well It's pretty well done. I think baby got a little frustrated she couldn't actually do a bit more of the construction but she seems to like it. Here, tadaa, is my attempt at the waterfall, pool for Ariel. The water hasn't gone completely clear yet but I've used it before so I know it will. I wanted to put rocks behind the fall but Kavita won't let me. (You'd think she owns it!) Oh well, wooden base and a few switches and it'll all be done. Cheers Glen PS, check out the bed. It's made from a bit of a Sari. http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~gasayers...house/index.htm
