Reply feature on messages not working?

Everytime I try to reply to a message, it says that there are not enough quotes, and I have to start a new message. It's done this occasionally before, but now it's nearly every time, and apparently happening to the people I write to, also. Any idea what's going on?

I took Roxxie's advice and deleted all the messages except my reply, and it works that way. She said she is just deleting the quotes/unquotes, and it works. So that's where the problem is.

not your actual message. For some reason that tag in the brackets is messing things up.

She figured out how to work around it, but there is definitely a problem with the reply feature-other folks may be having it, too, if Roxxie and I both are.

I've had the same problem when replying to a message for a while - too many quotes, and once I get rid of them, the message goes through.

I have the same problem too, every time I try to reply to a message. It says the number of quotes does not match up. I just do what you have said Roxxie and Sherry and it works fine.

The tags have to match up [] & [/] or it won't go through, whether it's a reply to a message or to a post; at least on my machine.

Normally, you just click on 'reply' and add your message. You are not messing with any of the quotes, and the program should add the needed quotes to your message. That is not happening, I get an error message saying that my quotes don't match up. If I erase ALL of the quotes in the previous messages, then the message will go through. The next person will have to do the same thing to reply to that message, etc, etc. That is not any of us doing anything wrong, it's a gremlin in the software.
