I had to run errands today to get ahead of the snow that is expected, otherwise I would have been on here this morning. We had a nice dinner at home with a decadent chocolate marble cake. I made myself a buche de noel and filled the rolled cake and frosted the ends with cream cheese frosting and used fudge frosting for the "bark". I didn't bother making meringe mushrooms or piped ivy, since it truly didn't last all that long! Marble cake is SO festive! Did you get any mini stuff? Today is a snow day and Fred is working a 12 hour shift..so I am going to work on her today. I want to insert the outside window trim, the door trim, work on the porch floor and MAYBE get some siding put up. I will post a picture of the cake in my gallery under Non Miniature photos.
