chellebelle
So sad to hear. I've always thought that in her youth, she was the most beautiful woman ever! At least now she's with the love of her life, Richard Burton.
woodland_miniatures
I'll never forget her in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Paul Newman, two of the most beautiful people in Hollywood and oh, could they both act! Both now gone, alas, but never as long as a scrap of film remains....
Minis On The Edge
I just heard about it! That's so sad she was such a beautiful lady.

grynche
I was still in Catholic school when Cleopatra was released. Oh, the horrors. It was condemned by the Legion of Decency and we all had to swear not to go see it. Years and years later I finally saw it on tv and my stars what was all the fuss about??? I think you got to see her upper thigh when she was having a bath? She was, imho, the most beautiful woman ever. Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn were lovely, but Liz was in a class by herself. I liked her best in -- senior moment -- the film with Montgomery Clift where he drowned Shelly Winters so he could be free to be with Liz. An American Tragedy? Or was that the book? Liz walked into a room, wearing a full-skirted white dress, and dropped onto the floor in the most perfect faint every filmed.
havanaholly
...she's with the love of her life, Richard Burton. In the clip from the Barbara Walters' interview ABC news showed, Ms Taylor said the love of her life was Mike Todd. She definitely had an interesting life!

Lynette Smith
Liz Taylor - Father of the Bride Barbie is looking over my shoulder. I'm glad that she no longer has to struggle with age and infirmity and can live on, forever young.
