Cute story on the eldest; when he got hurt on his last tour in Afghanistan and was riding a desk and going nuts (why he took the medical early retirement) we got a plaintive phone call: "Help! They often don't get recognized for all extra hard work and love they do and provide when biological mothers are nowhere to be found.
