Wood Replacements

After over 25 years I am finally staining and painting my Garfield House. So far, so good, except that some of the roof trimmings and porch railings are splintering, and I could use some tiny wood enforcers. These parts are too thin to sand down, so for the time being, I have painted over them, but I like to know if Greenleaf sells replacement trimming and wood pieces.

Yes they do, but they sell replacement sheets. From what I understand, you tell them the sheet numbers you need. You can look at the schematics for that info. You could also try using spackle or wood filler to smooth them out, then paint it.

Good luck! :)

Thanks. I was at Michaels today, and as I was pulling away I thought of wood filler. So I went back inside, purchased a bottle and was very pleasantly surprised with it. Before today, my only association with wood fill was a furniture stick. But this was like putty and very easy to work with without breaking the wood. Thanks for the suggestion.
