jrchob Posted July 27, 2011 Share Posted July 27, 2011 Husband went to ER July 4th with double pneumonia, followed by cardic arrest &L side stroke. Knew it was bad when the social worker took me to a room and had me call the girls. Is a fighter and after 14 days in critical care, and a few on the floor, he is now in subacute rehab and getting some movement in L leg. Couldn't concentrate on dollhouse even if I had the time, but I'm sure I will at some point. Can't believe all the excessive paperwork involved! Take care of yourself, we sometimes forget that the "healthy" spouse is also going through a lot when the other is ill, it is a huge physical and emotional drain.
