havanaholly
It is so very easy to prevent the spread of e. coli and other germs by careful & consistant handwashing and I am amazed how few people do it. It is also very easy for unmaintained equipment to grow nasties, and I suspect the contamination may have been related to the processing and not to the plants themselves. We are all going into fresh spinach withdrawl in our family :woot:
Anna
We are all going into fresh spinach withdrawl in our family :woot: I am one of those people who really really washes my hands and wash them "good" loads of times during the day LOL and I try teach my students to do the same when handling either food or going to eat their lunch etc. Not that I am obsessed with the washing but as I meat and touch so many people during a day as a teacher I do think that the hand washing has kept me healthier than if I hadn't been doing it. Clean hands are good!!!! :thumb: Hugs
