LaserCut Ashley Gothic Half Scale?

Aha! I began to suspect the siding was laser-drawn; it's perfect for the smaller scales!

I live about a mile west of the Perdido River in AL, so when we have to run errands or go to the doctor, we go to Pensacola; and if you ever decide to take yourself and your family to the Naval Aviation Museum at NAS P'cola and we're home, I'd love to meet you.

Yes, Karin, pre-plastic clipboards and countertops and cheap furniture...

The question comes up often around here...about the differences between mdf and plywood. Those who have built kits with mdf say that if a piece breaks it usually cant be repaired...or its difficult to repair...as opposed to plywood which if it should fall or by some series of unfortunate events a piece is damaged, it can be repaired with wood filler and glue. Also the mdf makes for a much heavier house. So Im interested to know where this hardboard falls into all of this...

I know this is an old thread. But for the sake of information to folks finding this by searching for the Ashley kit - I'm adding this link to pretty pics of a finished quarter scale laser Ashley Victorian. I see why people like this house. I love the extra 4th floor tower.
