Ebay, Etsy & Craig's List Links

Here's a WIllowcrest:

And this one I'd have to look up - I think it's called The Adorable by Miniature World. It's not a Crestview:

https://bend.craigslist.org/for/6150912008.html

I have no idea what they mean by online yard sale or the $10, but if you scroll through the pictures, there's a pretty nice dollhouse in there - I want to say Celerity or SW Crafts. Sorry, everyone - I've been dealing with a lot of junk this last week and my brain is in a fog:

https://bend.craigslist.org/for/6150912008.html

And then there's this one. I think Elsbeth posted this one once and it was only $30. It's been on Craig;s List for a while now and I guess the owner decided that to make it sell, he'd need sell it for this much:

That 1/24 scale Thornhill located in Seattle is back with a big drop in the asking price.  I believe last time it was around $2,000.00

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/clt/6151007212.html

That is a beautiful house and priced to sell...

Jenn are you close to it?

I am seriously tempted. I love the Thornhill but have never wanted to build one and here it is in a scale that could fit into my collection. Hmmmmm....I am hours away from it.

I think this desperately in need of a rehab building is completely adorable and if I lived in Michigan I'd pick it up for sure.

I like the way they've done the roof... *files picture away for future reference.* :D

This one speaks to me too. I love the wonky stairs.

OK, here is the correct picture of the house that was originally $30 and is now:

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bab/6133221722.html

If my car was working - and if I had any money - I'd get this San Franciscan:

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/for/6151581108.html

Or maybe this one, if I were in Orange County:

https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bab/6152822227.html

I'll give you three guesses as to which kit was modified for this one and the first two don't count:

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/tag/6144694581.html

Why are people asking so much for super small dollhouses and then these come up so cheap?

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/art/6151769635.html

And somebody in Denver is going to get a good deal - this was one of TWO Lady Kathleens offered for sale in Denver:

Oh, my gosh.  I think this is the highest priced Beacon Hill I have ever seen.  $7500 or buy it now at $9750.  If they get that, mine is going on the market immediately!

And here is a Lawbre Glenn Cove

If those houses go for those prices, Jeremy's houses ought to sell for a whole lot more!

That looks like the house that I was wondering about previously.  Is it a custom house?

VM800 Dura craft?

It is well done but NOT $7500...

Uh yeah...one of the bedrooms has the plain wood ceiling. And the upstairs has nice stained wood trim but with a white painted window. Well good luck to them. Obviously someone is sentimentally attached to it, or else the relatives of the deceased owner have no experience in miniatures. Yes, it is better than the $1000 houses that have been carpeted with real size shag carpet (those show up on craigslist). And $7500 is probably a realistic estimate of what they think their time and effort is worth, but that ain't how it works with trying to sell these to the miniaturists...a picky finicky lot, we are.

What's killing me is that the paper in that little room on the third floor is the wallpaper I put in the bathroom of the shadowbox. That's only the second time I've ever seen it used. The company that made that paper was out of business before I even got involved in miniatures. I wonder what she has in the rest of her stash??????

I thought the house was pretty well done. At least whoever built it can get their cove molding together neatly, which is something I have a problem doing. And I love the floors.

I thought it was the Victorian Mansion. I don't know what the number is.

Well it is $7500 worth of sanding for sure. Everything looks crazy smooth.

These people need to join the forum so we can get all of the juicy tid-bits....but then again the speculation is part of the fun!

Or at least a reality check on pricing!
