New Brick-and-Mortar Mini Shop in WA

We have several on the forum from Washington State so I thought I would let you know there is a new real-life brick-and-mortar miniature store in Edmonds!  It's called CJN Miniatures, and is located at: 9675 Firdale Ave; Edmonds 98020.  Easy to get to from the ferry dock (for those of us on the Peninsula).  I don't know if she sells online, but here's the website - CJN Miniatures

I got to stop in yesterday and she has a huge inventory, and also takes things on consignment.

Thanks, CJ. I've seen that one on Craig's List, so now we know there are at least 2 miniature stores on the Seattle side, 3 if The Dollhouse Cottage is still around.

But CJ, guess what? There is also a store in Port Townsend. A woman was selling a bunch of dollhouses and stuff on eBay, so I sent her a question last week asking if she had a store. And she said yes! I may go up there this weekend.

Uh-oh!  That could be dangerous!  I'm working in Port Angeles next weekend.  Do you have a name/number for her?  I'll call and see how late she stays open. But I don't get off work in PA until 5:00 on Sunday so it's probably too late.

I spoke with the owner on the phone for quite some time, I'm working on my first build ever and she gave some good advice! I'll be heading there to visit her shop this weekend and can't wait. Let me know if you know of any other shops in WA, they are hard to come by!

From what I understand the woman in Port Townsend who sells on ebay is open by appointment only according to her website http://itstoallyminis.com.

Sandi Bender closed the Dollhouse Cottage store in Kirkland and opened Alki Beach Miniatures in West Seattle (on Alki Beach) in March 2014.  From her website, http://alkibeachminiatures.com it looks like she is now open by appointment only.

HobbyTown in Silverdale sells wood strips.  Love the price of the wood strips.  The owner says he sells the wood at cost without a markup!!!!!  I have seen Greenleaf Dollhouse kits there also, but it is not a dollhouse miniature store, so small selection of miniatures.

Was disappointed that MiniLand in Victoria, BC closed their brick and mortar store this past summer and now online only.

Discovered a wonderful hobby store in Hillsboro, OR.  Among other things they sell Greenleaf dollhouse kits.  It was so much fun to look around and think "I have that and that and that".  But, alas, I was looking for a specific lighting item that they did not have in stock.

I'm not sure this is relevant, but I have made several purchases from her on eBay. Her stock is always in perfect shape, and once, when she accidentally sent me the wrong wallpaper, she was just awesome about getting me the right thing. Very nice lady, and very concerned with making her customers happy. Her nami is Myra...

I have also purchased an ebay item from Myra.  Very fast delivery.

Discovered I made a typo in earlier post.  The website address in my earlier post is missing one letter, therefore, does not work.  The web address is http://itstotallyminis  If that doesn't work, try a search for It's Totally Minis.com that is how I found it originally.

Oops. Left off the .com in the "corrected" address ... sometimes ... well, sometimes!

Try this: http://itstotallyminis.com  :)

CJN Miniatures has moved to a HUGE location on Hwy 99 in Edmonds. 23030 Hwy 99. It is a yellow 2-story building between Les Schwab & Public Storage on the West side of the street. They now have dolls, collectibles & antiques. They still take consignment, but not also offer dealer space.
