Elsbeth
After searching for pre-made household items like foil, morton salt, corn meal box, etc - I decided to print them out for free and make my own. However, I am wondering what paper is best? In the past, when I have used regular printer paper, the items don't look quite right and don't fold/glue together very crisply.Any advice, printie-gurus? Thanks! KathieB
Photo paper. Either glossy or matte finish, depending on what you want to item to look like. It is heavier than regular printer paper, so it scores well for nice, crisp bends. And of course shows wonderful detail.
My Miniature Madness
There have been times when I didn't have photo paper on hand. In those cases, I printed on what I did have such as regular printer paper or card stock. Then I brushed on a coat of matte Mod Podge and let it dry thoroughly. It gave the paper enough weight to make it fold and hold better, and somehow really livens up the printer ink. Good luck with your project Jenn!

BriJohn
I really like brochure paper, mine is HP, I think. It's like photo paper but just a bit lighter weight so folds well - mine is satin finish. And use a bone folder.
Selkie
Agreed - a bone folder is wonderful. Just be sure your first stroke is where you really want it. You can't undo it.
