Luanne
I am thinking about creating a pool slide- not as tall or long as these but the shape/ style is matching my vision. Any suggestion on how to go about this? Thanks. http://www.incrediblecoasters.com/tabootower7.JPG
parisbabe
Im thinking maybe either some air dry clay or polymer clay would work real well..or even paper mache. This would be kinda cool to make:

Anna
You want to make the tube and/or the open slide? For the tube I would use a pantyhose base, stuffing it lightly with crinkled up aluminium foil so that it can be shaped. Cover it with paper mache strips, sand and paint, add support "beams/dowels" I would do the slide with a base of aluminium foil too over suitable shaped and do multipel layers of tissue paper and wall paper mix to get a stable slide. When dry, sand it smooth and paint. looking forward seeing your progress! hugs

-defunct account-
Foam pipe insulation cover - cut lengthwise. Example video where they made crude cuts - you could be more careful and then paint it, but it shows how it can be shaped easily with supports, which a real pool would have under bends anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPG5iCp38bA
