I just wanted to show off a little. This is what I was working on today.  These figures are just over half an inch high (9/16) and were cast in metal.  I painted them, added some paper flowers, and heavily spray glossed them to get a ceramic look.  Hope you enjoy.

Those turned out so well!    I have a pair of white metal Staffordshire dogs I got at Earth & Tree and painted and put on the mantel of the pub's snug:

and I have been looking for more animal pairs since then; I'd especially love to find the hen & rooster in mini to paint.

And also, I've seen metal mini roosters and hens without the bases I think (at Virtual Dollhouse: http://www.virtualdollhouse.net). You could glue a base on.
