Double Hung Working Windows

I am building the Dura Craft Heritage and so far things have been going smoothly (thanks to otterine.com) .  But, now I am stuck. I am trying to put together the two working front double hung windows. The instructions are so short and vague that I am lost. Has anyone put these together?

Ahh, the intriguing Heritage. It was the first house that I built using very minimal tools in about 2 weeks time. But I loved that house and my DD (who the house was built for) says it will never go anywhere.

I don't remember the windows being a problem, but I can see how they could be. I think I read the instructions quite a few times as I figured it all out.

I also did bashing  that I didn't know was bashing at the time. I put a piece between the 2nd floor porch and the tiny 2nd floor porch. It did not make sense to me that the little people would have to crawl out a window to get to that bigger upper porch when there are doors that open on that 2nd level and would make it easier for them. After I put the piece between the 2 upper porches, I extended the railing all the way around the 2 combined porches (that now make one full upper porch/deck).

I like it, my DD seems to like it and I hope the little people like it as well. I would very happily build another Heritage (even with the minimal tools I had then).

I hope you and the house enjoy your build and it comes out exactly as you envision it. I am looking forward to seeing your progress.

Did Dura-Craft kits ever design their double-hung windows to be the same in any two kits?  After crying my way through all those *bad word* windows in the San Franciscan (the SF555 version) the Cambridge's were a piece of cake!  I'm not even thinking about the Newburg's; one of the reasons it's still in its box!

Holly, the Newberg is just die cut trim for the windows. :) So no need to worry about that!

Thanks!   It's fairly fr down in the pile of UFKs.  Since someone mentioned that it's more die-cut than the other D-C kits I've built I might just go ahead and make my own windows & doors.
