transformer

I have a 40 watt transformer that has no terminals to connect any wires to,just a inline plug coming out of transformer. I have decided to go the roundwire system. My problem is where can I connect the wires from the power strip to?

The is an adapter that connects to the house wire on one side and the transformer on the other side is the most common way now.

Post a close-up of the transformer. Or see if you can find the connector that goes with your transformer on line.

For electrical  I  the ctrl-kit products. Their older stock will attach to some non circle-kit transformers. The connector is on the top right corner of the picture they have a model for round wire.

I'm no electrical expert, but you should be able to splice the wires from your transformer into your round wire system. You might need to snip off whatever's at the end and strip off some of the plastic to get to the wire.

I just flipped over a roombox that uses round wire and a non CirKit transformer and this is what I have on the bottom. No idea what that piece with the screws is called but it's probably something you can buy at a hardware or Radio Shack type store.

What's at the end of the cord with the wheel switch on it?

I'm sorry the camera did not capture it. It's a on-off switch, but at the very end is a 2 prong plug that goes into a junction splice. Since I'm going roundwire that two prong plug does me no good

It looks like you need to get a different transformer. Yours is made specifically for a tapewire system. You need a transformer that looks like the one attached. It depends on what the end of the white wire looks like. But make sure you get enough watts to accomadate the 12 receptacles on the strip.
