Video tutorial for artists paint tubes

Recommended Posts

Super cute!  Years ago, there was a Nutshell News article that used rolled up foil (heavy duty, no straw), which I thought worked well. It's soft enough to squoosh a bit, just like the life-size version.  I think they may have used seed beads for caps, but I don't recall.

I have a magazine article for making artist's supplies; the paint tubes were done by rolling strips of aluminum foil cut the scale length of the tubes and folding one flattened end and gluing a bead for the cap to the other end and making labels in the different colors.

Way back Nutshell News had instructions and included labels for paint pots and tubes and probably other things. I think it was where I got the ideal to use single serve sauce and jelly tubs as drawers and sinks.
