Anna Posted May 28, 2016 Share Posted May 28, 2016 The door is made from sandwiching two layer on top of each other, so the "base" could easily be painted one colour and then the top layer another one. havanaholly Posted May 28, 2016 Share Posted May 28, 2016 Debbie, you might want to dry fit the house with painters or masking tape before you glue it together (using carpenter's wood glue, NOT the hot glue that the instructions might mention); the second floor attaches through those second floor windows, so the tabs form the window sills, and it makes for an exceedingly short second floor...
