Elsbeth Posted May 29, 2016 Share Posted May 29, 2016 I love how detailed the quarter scale Pickett hill kit looks --but I've never made any of the Betterley kits. Anyone have experience to share? Are they difficult kits? The decals look great on some pieces but sometimes it looks too fiddly for me average collector/junior builder like me. Sable Posted May 29, 2016 Share Posted May 29, 2016 I used a few Betterley kits for a club project. I painted them with water colors. My eyesight is not the greatest on these super small kits and you need a magnifying glass to see all the detail. They are well made. I found that certain glued refused to adhere to the wood.
