A club member suggested I look at the attached site. I had no idea you can buy RL mini shrubs and plants.

That url sends me to a 404 message.

Try this one: http://www.twogreenthumbs.com/

What a great site. :)

I love the idea of landscaping with real plants but I don't think I could keep them alive. My thumbs are not green! I once had a real plant in a little terra cotta pot on the porch of one of my dollhouses. I lived in a very damp garden apartment and never watered it. Then I moved to a warmer place without realizing the little plant needed water, so it died. :(

I water the plants and they still die.

Sounds like me, LOL.  I have two black thumbs.

I don't have indoor plants because I kill them (unintentionally, of course.  I can't imagine watering teeny tiny plants. But they do look great.

Search Outdoor Garden railways.  I had one years ago and there are lots of small leaf plants you can use for your dollhouses.  Most you can keep small

by keeping them clipped.  I would imagine it might be hard to keep them in small containers though, just from a watering standpoint.

I would imagine it would work if you made your mini garden on one of those clear plastic pot "saucers" and used a spray bottle to water them.
