So, I have been working some on the house; thought you all would like to see.

I have repainted it in a more traditional color and, deciding that it is suitable for the Savannah Georgia area I have been adding some details and age that seem appropriate for a warm, damp climate. I am working on moss for the bricks at the moment. Anyone have good moss tips?

Whatever you're doing is looking great. I love the leaves in the gutter, the touches of green mold by the doorway and the moss on bricks really says "old Savannah".

You can use dry brush techniques to paint moss between the bricks, or some of the flock model railroad "grass".  I love the staining on the gutter and all the leaves. You might also think about the gray mold stains on the whitewashed wood.
