That's the look I'm after in my French house. One way it to use Spackle/polyfilla/wallboard mud with a palette knife or a piece of flexible plastic (think credit card) to spread it. Beulah Posted September 29, 2016 Author Share Posted September 29, 2016 For the spakle I just spread my polyfil on with a knife, When dry, I painted it pale green, When dry, painted cream and wiped it off in places. Then when dry, I used a tiny bit of antiquing glaze. For the gable it is just shingles like doing a roof. Hope this helps. Thanks for all the kind comments on the wallpaper.
