Sable
Fabulous idea. I think I have this correct: base unit, 2 LED bulbs and power supply is $40? Additional set of two lights is $10 (but they only show red lights)?
armymom166
Very interesting!! Wonder how it would do for under-cabinet lighting... or something in a bathroom. I need to check this out on my next trip to Hobby Lobby!
smjsome
No, there were warm white, flashing red straight red and other colors. You can buy additional individual pieces as well, and a switch. I think I may try these for a smaller house. using coupons, of course! shamrockgirl18
Please update this thread once you've tried them- I'd love to know how they work out
Soapz
FYI, Walmart is selling these lights: 20 Battery Operated LED Cool White Micro Rice Christmas Lights for less than $10 - seems like a better deal than those at HL. And it seems they can be cut to length. I looked at the Just plug ones - but there are only 2 bulbs for $20 - seems a bit much, additional 2 lights are $10 for each set. But whoever is willing to test, let us know how they worked for you.
smjsome
I use those battery lights - but I get them at Joann Fabrics, w a smaller battery pack, and around $6. And I very much like them, and they can be cut! And coupon! but! I always forget to turn them off, so have to change out batteries too many times, so the idea of plugging in intrigues me .... I have several projects to finish, so it will be a while
kathi17
I've been getting my lights here: http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/doll-house-lights.html Click on all the lighting options in the left sidebar. They have battery operated lights as well as the ones you plug in. I buy the pico sized nano chips, and the 1.8 mm lights, and they give a lot of light! Fast shipping, and he sends you a 15% off coupon for your next order. I was wondering about those HL lights too, until I saw the price!
